** Postponed ** >> LSNA Clean-up at “Lockeland” Park

This event has been postponed due to inclement weather.

We’ll post again once another date has been selected.

Thanks

Please join us on Saturday, March 26th 9:00am – 1:00 p.m. to kick-off Great American Clean-Up Month in Nashville

The Lockeland Springs Neighborhood Association is sponsoring a trash clean-up event on March 5th at the neighborhood’s newest pocket park behind the Lockeland Design Center at 1810 Woodland Street.

Important Notes for Volunteers:

  • There is no parking available at the entrance point. The parking and staging area will be at the Lockeland Design School parking lot.
  • Not all of the property lines are marked. Look for orange tape and stakes marking the start of adjacent parcels. Please stay off of the private property bordering the park. LSNA Board Members will be available to provide further instruction at the 9:00 check-in.
  • Metro Public Works will be providing gloves and other supplies. Please come prepared to get muddy. Rubber boots, pants and long-sleeve shirts are highly recommended. Please be aware that there is poison ivy and thorny bushes on the property.
  • This is the first opportunity to come check out the new park property. Our goal is to remove trash and other debris that has collected on the site. Later events will focus on vine and invasion plant removal.

Please join us as we start work on our new pocket park.

Thanks
